My name is Barry Turner and I live in my home town of Penicuik, Scotland with my wife and 3 children.

Design is where I love to hang my hat. Graphic Design really is my first passion, although I have always been labelled as Creative. Through self development and a varied career path I have started my own IT support company, local publication and will also be launching a few other ventures.

Throughout my career path my artistic nature and keen eye for balance has shone through. The past 2 years have allowed me to flex my design muscle, expressing this throughout the many projects I have been blessed to be involved in.

I first started my working life as an apprentice screen printer, moving onto become an apprentice painter & decorator. After becoming time-served and working in the trade full-time for 3 years, I decided on a new career path working my way up from an administration role to an IT Managers’ role in 4 years. Within those 4 years my remit was as wide as it was deep, Hardware/Software, Server administration, Network management & upgrade, to developing the group of companies re-brand and website to name a few, this was what took me into the world of Graphic Design and something which I enjoy immensely! Being able to listen to my clients needs and bring their designs to life is not only a job but a joy!!

Throughout the last few years my experience in artwork design for Logo’s, Adverts, Publications, Leaflets and Websites have allowed me to use all of this experience to follow my dreams of starting my own business. I recognise the needs of a small business, being one myself and also can work to the requirements of larger organisations with my experience in large scale Web & Print projects, something I’ve always kept true is that there is no job too small or too large!!
